The Autism 200 series class is Thursday 2/16/2012 at 6pm AKST. We also attached the 2012 schedule because there has been a change in classes. Due to speaker conflicts we have swapped the June and September speakers – all other details (dates, times, locations) are the same, this change is in the updated schedule attached.

This October the Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education will be holding a community gathering and public testimony. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 5, from 7pm-8pm at the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority Building. If you would distribute the attached flyer and promote attendance at the public testimony, it would be much appreciated!

In order for SESA to consult with teams about specific students, a referral must be made. The SESA Referral Packet contains all the necessary forms to be filled out for SESA services to begin. Although various team members can participate in filling out the forms, the special education director/coordinator MUST SIGN the referral in order for it to be valid.
